DIY builder vs managed service.
The real choice is not price. It is whether someone is responsible for making the site useful after it launches.

Questions? I have answers.
Is there really no setup fee?
Correct. There is no setup fee, onboarding charge, or hidden build cost. You pay the $49/mo founding rate at signup, then monthly after that until you cancel. I can offer this early rate because Pixel Wrench uses a lean, AI-assisted build process and I am taking on a limited number of founding clients while the service grows.
What if I want to cancel?
Email me at chris@pixelwrench.ai to cancel. There are no cancellation fees or long-term commitments. Your site stays live through the end of the current billing period, then goes offline. Your business content and photos remain yours.
What if I don't like my website?
You're covered by my 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not happy for any reason in the first 30 days, I'll refund you in full. No questions asked, no hoops to jump through. I'm confident you'll love what I build, but the guarantee is there so you have zero risk.
Do I own my website?
You own all your content, photos, copy, and business information. The website design and hosting are part of your subscription service with Pixel Wrench. If you cancel, I can export your content for you so you have everything you need. Think of it like any other subscription service: you own your data, and I provide the platform and ongoing service that makes it work.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes. If you already have a domain name, I will connect it to your new site at no extra charge. If you need a domain, I will help you choose and register one that works for your trade and your market. Domain registration is typically about $12/year through a registrar like Namecheap or Cloudflare Registrar, which is separate from your monthly plan cost.
How long does it take to build my site?
Most sites move quickly once you complete the intake form and send your business details. Timing depends on how much content, photo cleanup, domain work, and custom review is needed. I will keep you updated throughout the process instead of promising an artificial deadline that may not fit every business.
What if I need changes after the site is live?
Reasonable content updates are included. Need to add a service page, update your phone number, change photos, adjust copy, or add a seasonal promotion? Send it over and I handle it. If a request turns into a larger redesign or new feature, I will tell you before doing work that would cost extra.
Do you build sites for trades not listed on your site?
Yes. While I specialize in the trades listed on my site, I can build a website for just about any service business. If you like what you see and want something similar for your industry, get in touch.
Is the $49/mo price going to increase?
The $49/mo rate is the founding client rate. Future customers may pay more as the service matures. Your founding rate stays the same while your subscription remains active and in good standing.
What website performance can you track?
I set up analytics for visits, traffic sources, form submissions, phone-number clicks, and top-performing pages. When we review performance, I explain the useful numbers in plain English and use them to identify practical improvements.
How long does it take to see results from SEO?
It varies. New sites typically start showing up in local search results within a few weeks, but climbing to the top positions usually takes a few months. SEO is a long game, not a light switch. The good news is that once you start ranking, those leads keep coming without paying per click.
What if I serve multiple cities?
I build individual service area pages for every city you cover. Each page targets that specific location so you can rank in multiple areas instead of just your home base. There is no extra charge for additional area pages.
Is the design really custom or do you use templates?
I use a proven contractor-site foundation so I do not waste your money rebuilding basic infrastructure. Your page mix, copy, colors, imagery, services, service areas, and calls to action are then customized for your business.
Do I have to write any content myself?
No. The intake form takes about 10 minutes and asks basic questions about your business. From there, I handle all the writing. You just review and tell me if anything needs adjusting.
How do review requests work?
After a job, you send the customer a simple follow-up link. Every customer gets the same option to leave an honest Google review, plus a direct contact path if they want help or a response from your business.
Do I need an app for SMS lead alerts?
No. Alerts arrive as standard text messages to whatever phone number you give me. iPhone, Android, flip phone. If it can receive texts, it works. Nothing to download or set up on your end.
What happens after I request my site?
You send the business details through the intake, complete signup, and receive confirmation. I review the information, build the first version, and send you a private preview. You request any needed corrections before the site launches on your domain.
