Hey there, I'm Chris.

I'm based in Augusta, Kansas with my wife and kids. I've been a web developer for over 12 years, and I'm currently the Website Manager at Saint Francis Ministries. Over the years I've designed websites for hospitals, colleges, breweries, catering companies, gyms, and a lot more. Now I'm branching out to the trades.

I believe the trades need practical websites, not expensive projects or DIY builders that never get finished. Modern tools help me move faster, but the service is still human-run: I write, review, edit, launch, and support the work myself.

Pixel Wrench is the collection of what I've learned in marketing and web development over the last decade-plus. The goal is simple: give trade contractors a managed website that is easy to start, easy to maintain, and built to turn local interest into real calls and quote requests.

I use modern tools, including AI, to speed up early drafts. I review the work and remain responsible for what goes live.

I map out the site

Your intake becomes a practical page plan built around your services, service area, brand, and strongest reasons to call.

I build and review every page

The copy gets tightened, the design gets refined, and the SEO and lead-capture basics get checked before you see it.

You review and I revise

You see your site before it launches. If something is off, I fix it. Your name is on it, so it needs to be something you are proud of.

I use AI and I tell you about it. I am one person and I tell you about it. I do not pretend to be something I am not. The work speaks for itself.
